Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to find out how the company's financial performance is using the method of economic value added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA) in transportation companies listed on the IDX. This research was carried out with descriptive and quantitative methods using primary data and secondary data obtained through documentary data collection and literature study. The sample in this study were 16 companies in the transportation sector using purposive sampling method. From the results of the study, it was concluded that 16 transportation companies listed on the IDX in the period 2016 to 2019, were found to be 53.13% of the total sample of companies experiencing negative EVA. This shows that the company's performance is not good. As much as 46.87% of the overall sample companies show good company performance, this is indicated by positive EVA results. The results of the study of 16 transportation companies listed on the IDX in the 2016 to 2019 period, it was found that 51.56% of the total sample of companies experienced positive MVA. This shows that the company has a good performance. As much as 48.44% of the total sample of companies experienced a negative MVA. This shows that the company's performance is not good.
