Abstract :
The purpose of this study discusses the issue of How the Analysis of Cantate Domino Song Forms in the Svarna Gita Choir Composition in the GPIB Church of Immanuel Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method with a non-interactive qualitative approach. The song Cantate Domino is a song of praise sung by Christians for worship in praising God and communicating with God through vocal music. This song is a two-part song, and there are two themes, the first theme lies in the 1st to the 25th time. The second theme is in the 26th to the 78th time. The Cantate Domino song uses regular phrases, antesendent phrases and concentrated phrases. , in it there is a question sentence and also an answer sentence for each measure of the song. Using the Allegretto tempo, which is a rather fast tempo ranging from 108-120 bpm, with tonica C = Do.Coda in the Cantate Domino song is found on bar 70 to bar 78. The sound used in this song uses five voices, namely: Soprano, Mezzo-soprano , Alto, Tenor, Baritone, and Bass.
