Abstract :
The title of this research is "Analysis of Putri Pinang Cook Dance at Sanggar Kemas Meranti Regency, Meranti Islands Regency, Riau Province. Problem in this study is How is the Analysis of Putri Pinang Cook Dance at Sanggar Kemas Meranti Regency, Kepulauan Meranti, Riau Province? Aim of this research is to find out the Analysis of Putri Pinang Cook Dance at Meranti Boarding Studio, Meranti Islands Regency, Riau Province. Theory which is used the theories of Peter Salim and Yenni Salim (2002: 4) in Aji Reno (2012: 8) describe the notion of analysis as follows: Analysis is investigation of an event (deeds and so on) for get the right facts (origin, cause, real cause, and so). Analysis is a breakdown of the subject matter over parts, reviewing these parts and the relationship between the parts to get proper understanding with overall understanding. Analysis is elaboration (expansion) of something, etc. after being reviewed in a manner carefully thought out. Analysis is the problem solving process that starts with hypothesis (conjecture, etc.) until proven truth through some certainty (observations, experiments, etc.). The method used is a descriptive analysis research method by using non-interactive qualitative data, namely: researchers are not involved and only as independent observers. Researchers use techniques data collection by observation, interview, and documentation. Results research namely analysis of dance, motion, music, dynamics, themes, dramatic design, floor design, property, costumes, make-up, lighting, stage set, and audience.
