Abstract :
The era of free competition currently causes many companies to focus on building job satisfaction for their employees, because the job satisfaction of their employees will greatly affect the development of the company later. Low employee job satisfaction is one of the symptoms that can damage conditions in a company. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of job characteristics and individual characteristics on employee job satisfaction at PT Dinamika Buah Nusantara Pasar Buah Belilas in Seberida District. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method, namely by collecting data obtained from respondents through distributing questionnaires. Then tabulated and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The sample in this study amounted to 48 people who were employees at the Buah Belilas Market in 2019. The types and sources of data used were primary and secondary. Data collection techniques, namely by interview and questionnaire. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis, validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient test (R2), and t test (hypothesis). The results in this study indicate that job characteristics, individual characteristics have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT Dinamika Buah Nusantara Pasar Buah Belilas in Seberida District.
