Abstract :
Family communication: Negotiation of Reproduction Rights of Young Couples in Tualang Village, Siak Regency. Aprilia Ratna Angela 169110216 Reproductive rights are the most important component for individuals and couples to decide freely about the number, distance and when to have children. There is still a lack of knowledge about reproductive rights resulting in violations of reproductive rights such as domestic violence, discrimination in the use of family planning, reproductive health, and freedom of thought. The purpose of this study was to determine the problem of reproductive rights and how to negotiate young couples in solving reproductive rights problems in Tualang Village, Siak Regency. This study uses 14 concepts of reproductive rights. In this study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out by means of interviews and documentation. The informants in this study were 4 pairs. The result of this research is that family communication with young married couples has not been going well regarding the negotiation of reproductive rights. The dominant informant stated that he had never negotiated reproductive rights except for the right to form a family, plan for a child's future, freedom of thought, health care, make decisions that were free of discrimination, equal rights to free from discrimination, and the right to be free from violence.
