Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of eye-hand coordination to the under-passing ability of volleyball in grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Desa Mahato Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. This type of research is correlation. The population in this study were Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Desa Mahato Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, totaling 26 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling so that the number of samples in this study were 26 students. The test instrument used is the eye and hand coordination test and a lower passing test. The data analysis technique used is the r test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the contribution of eye and hand coordination to the under passing ability of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Desa Mahato Kabupaten Rokan Hulu because the calculated 0.444 is greater than the value of rtable = 0.388 with a contribution value of 19.71%.
