Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of bank soundness at regional development banks in Sumatera, Indonesia. Sampling in this study were all regional development banks in the Sumatera region, amounting to 8 banks. The analysis of bank health assessment in this study uses the Risk Based Bank Rating (RBBR) method which consists of Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital. The results showed that the health level of regional development banks in the Sumateraregion during 2016-2020 overall bank conditions were in PK-1, namely Very Healthy condition. Where the highest or most superior bank is obtained by PT. Bank Aceh with a Very Healthy predicate (PK-1), while the bank that was lagging behind or the lowest was obtained by PT. Bank Riau and Kepulauan Riau with a Healthy predicate (PK-2). Keywords: Bank Soundness Level, Method of Risk Based Bank Rating (RBBR), and the Regional Development Bank.
