Abstract :
This research is entitled "Analysis of the 2013 Dara Sunti Dwarf Creation Dance by Mahyu Fadli at Dang Merdu Pekanbaru Sanggar" the problem discussed in this study is how do the Gelek Dara Sunti dance analysts at Sanggar Dang Merdu Pekanbaru? This study aims to find out the dance analysis of Dara Sunti Gelek Creation and then data collection techniques, namely observation, interview and documentation. The population in the Gelek dance research was Dara Sunti, five people namely Mahyu Fadli, Heri Syaputra, Irwanda, Rezki Desriyani and Giani Restianti. The type of research used in this study is descriptive analysis method using non-interactive qualitative data. The theory used is Soedarsono. This research concludes about the range of motion of the opening greetings, the movement of crossing the knees, the range of hand movements, the movement of playing the hips, the movement of dancing, the motion of reply, the movement of monitoring the girl, the movements of seduction, the motion toward the girl, the motion toward the girl, the motion waiting for answers, motion giving certainty, motion jittery, circular motion, motion gets an answer.
