Abstract :
Moral education was very important in every education level, especially junior high school students, it was the most important phase in their growth, event it was a success basic for students? advanced educational growth, because the destiny of a nation was determined by young generation. The purpose in this research examined to know the effort way of PAI teachers at MTs Al Ijtimaiyah in moral guidance for students. This research method adopted qualitative method with descriptive design, where it described in specific and accurate about the effort of Islamic education teacher in moral guidance, the activity and supporting situation also oppression or social behavior. The factors in implementation of the activity. Qualitative research was research that created analysis procedures that did not use statistical analysis procedures or quantitative method. The effort of Islamic education teachers in moral guidance for students at MTs Al Ijtimaiyah was giving good example, habitual (good character), giving guidance and counseling, guiding and offer students directly, discipline habitual, giving advice and comment, punishment and the effort in cooperation between all parties in school or outside school. Based on research finding, it could be concluded that: the ways of teachers? effort of Islamic education teachers at MTs Al Ijtimaiyah such as giving good example, habitual (good character), giving guidance and counseling, guiding and offer students directly, discipline habitual, giving advice and comment, punishment and the effort in cooperation between all parties in school or outside school
