Abstract :
Employees have an important role in carrying out organizational activities, both as
planners and as executors of activities within an organization. The achievement or absence of
a predetermined plan is strongly influenced by the ability of employees in carrying out the
tasks that are the responsibility. The purpose of this study is to know and analyze the
performance of employees at the Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium
Enterprises, Industry and Trade Pelalawan District and to determine the factors hampering
the performance of employees. This research uses descriptive survey type through
quantitative analysis with population and sample of rice from employees of Trade
Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Businesses, Industry and Trade of
Pelalawan Regency with census sampling technique. Types and data sources used are
primary data and secondary data with observation data collection techniques,
questionnaires, interviews, and documentation which then the results of research processed
and analyzed to be drawn conclusions from the study. Based on the results of data analysis, it
can be concluded that the performance of employees of the Department of Cooperatives,
Small and Medium Enterprises, Industry and Trade Pelalawan Regency is in the category
quite well. Employees have the ability or ability in carrying out the work that is the
responsibility and have a high motivation and motivation from the leadership in carrying out
the work. Inhibiting factors faced in providing work performance in terms of human
resources, work support facilities, and budget allocation.
