Abstract :
This research is conducted by the author in Pangkalan Kerinci District. Regarding this research, the object is laundry entrepreneurs. The problem discussed in this study is whether the application of accounting by the laundry businessman in Pangkalan Kerinci Subdistrict has fulfilled the basic concepts of accounting. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of accounting carried out by laundry entrepreneurs who have followed the basic concepts of accounting so as to produce useful financial information in running their business. In the study of laundry small businesses in Pangkalan Kerinci District, there were 21 businesses. This study uses the census method of all laundry small businesses in the Pangkalan Kerinci District. After all the data is collected, the data is grouped according to their respective types and then poured in the form of a table and the author can draw conclusions as a result of the research conducted. Based on the results of research and discussion, accounting forerunners conducted by laundry small entrepreneurs are not in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.
