Abstract :
This study aims to determine the supervision of the distribution of fuel oil by the Department of Industry and Trade of Pekanbaru City and find out the obstacles that occur in monitoring the distribution of fuel oil by the Department of Industry and Trade of Pekanbaru City. The method of this research is descriptive survey. This research is located in the Office of Industry and Trade of Pekanbaru City. The population in this study was 49 people. The sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling technique, the sample in this study the authors set as many as 28 respondents. The result of the study show that supervision of oil fuel distribusion by the departemen of industry and trade of Pekanbaru City in the in the fairly implemented category. This conclusion is in accordance with the predetermined measurement technique that what is said to be a sufficiently implemented category is in the percentage of 34% - 66%, meaning that all three indicators used have not all been implemented properly .Constraints in supervising the distribution of fuel oil by the Department of Industry and Trade of Pekanbaru City is limited human resources in conducting supervision .
