Abstract :
Keywords: Evaluation, Implementation, Job Expo, Labor Force The large number of job seekers in Pekanbaru who have been registered with the Manpower Office have not yet found employment. Thus the purpose of this study is to evaluate the success of the job expo implementation in reducing the number of unemployed workers in Pekanbaru City and to analyze the inhibiting factors in the job expo in reducing the number of unemployed workers in the city of Pekanbaru. Evaluation can be interpreted as a process of comparison between standards with facts and other analysis with the specified indicators namely Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Alignment, Responsiveness, Accuracy. This type of quantitative descriptive research with a population includes all Pekanbaru City Service employees and Workers who attend the Expo Job. The sampling technique is: census technique and purposive sampling technique. The types and sources of data are in the form of primary data and secondary data, with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and interviews, then the data obtained are grouped to be analyzed according to the indicators set and conclusions drawn from the results of the study. The Job Expo implementation in reducing the number of unemployed workers in the city of Pekanbaru is said to be quite good. This can be seen from the six predetermined indicators, namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy. The Pekanbaru City Manpower Office has sought to reduce unemployment, especially in the workforce by implementing various programs to improve the quality of the workforce and open labor exchanges through the Expo Job. But from the various activities there are still obstacles in the form of the amount of the available budget, the participation of companies that are still low, and the limited level of expertise of job seekers from employers
