Abstract :
This study aims to determine the level of leadership role of village heads in
development in Pambang Pesisir Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency by
the Head of the Village. Where, the leadership role is measured by three
indicators, namely Motivator, Facilitator and Mobilizer. This type of research
located in Pambang Pesisir Village, Bantan Subdistrict, Bengkalis Regency is a
Descriptive Survey, which prioritizes questionnaires as a tool for collecting data
and data collected with this tool and then becomes the main raw material for
analyzing empirical conditions of the objectivity of the research objectives. and by
using quantitative research methods. There are three population groups and the
sample in this study is a community of 21 people, 8 village officials and 5 village
representative bodies. The entire population and sample are sampled where the
village head is the Key Informant and the sampling technique used in collecting
data in this study is the Census technique for village officials and village
representative bodies, while the Purposive Sampling technique for coastal mining
communities. The types and data collection techniques used consist of primary
data collected by questionnaire and interview techniques and secondary data
collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is
to use a frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique the researcher
assessed and concluded that the leadership role of the village head in
development in the coastal village of Pambang Bantan District, Bengkalis
Regency was at a role interval according to the respondent's responses and the
observation of the author
