Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to find out the appropriateness of the accounting application carried out furniture shop enterpreneurs in Bagan Sinembah sub-district Rokan hilir district with the basic concepts of accounting. With regard to the conduct of this research the object is a small furniture shop entrepreniur domiciled Bagan Sinembah sub-district Rokan Hilir. As the problem raised in this study is whether the application of accounting by a small business furniture store in Bagan Sinembah sub-district Rokan Hilir regency in accordance with the basic concept of accounting. Data collection methods used by the author is by structured interviews and documentation. The conclusion of this research is the application of accounting in the furniture shop business in the sub-district of bagan sinembah rokan hilir regency is not in accordance with the basic concept of accounting. Because furniture shop entrepreniurs still combine household expenses with company expenss.
