Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to find out the Implementation of the Camat's Tasks in Coordinating Community Empowerment Activities in Salo District of Kampar Regency and to find out the obstacles to the Implementation of the Camat's Tasks in Coordinating Community Empowerment Activities in Salo District, Kampar Regency. This type of research is descriptive survey using questionnaires as a data collection tool, then by interviewing using Key Information as supplementary data and observations to determine the state of the location and empowerment activities that the Salo District Government has done. Respondents in this study were the Salo District Government which consisted of the Camat, Kasih Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa, the Village Head, then the Salo Sub-District community, which totaled 48 samples. Data analysis of this research was carried out in quantitative quantitative method using frequency tabulation. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Implementation of the Camat's Task in Coordinating Community Empowerment Activities in Salo District, Kampar Regency is generally in the Fairly Good category. The results of this study were obtained through an assessment of the coordination variable consisting of 6 (enem) indicators namely Information, Synchronization, Suggestion, Participation, Human Relations, and Communication. The inhibiting factor is that the information provided by the Subdistrict is not very clear to the community, so that many people still do not understand, the lack of community participation in Village meetings and community empowerment activities, the distance of the Village is far enough from the District Capital so that information dissemination and communication carried out by the District only through an announcement letter.
