Abstract :
The researcher raised this research because the researcher wanted to see the missionary preachers' communication in preaching to the tribal community's ability to preach in conveying Islam. The purpose of this study was to understand the missionary communication carried out by the missionaries to the Akit tribe in support of the village of Upih river district of Kuala Kampar District and to identify the obstacles faced by the missionaries in Islamic law. The research was carried out in Sungai Sekiat village of Sungai Upih with the consideration of all missionaries who undertook the construction of the Akitese community. This study uses qualitative methods, this method aims to get an understanding of the general nature of social reality from the perspective of participants. The results show that the preaching of the preaching work was good, although there were some obstacles to the preaching, the obstacles were the difficulty of adjusting and adapting to the Akit community with the low level of education of the Akitese community which made it difficult for missionaries to teach and for the Akitans to receive lessons about Islamic religion from the public.
