Abstract :
Abstract Public Relations Activities of Arifin Achmad Regional Hospital of Riau Province in Maintaining the Trust of the Pekanbaru Community (Study of Inpatients) Sylmi Nasuha 159110147 The increase and decrease in the number of inpatients is inseparable from public trust in the services provided by Arifin Achmad Hospital. This study aims to determine the public relations activities of Arifin Achmad Regional Public Hospital in Riau Province in maintaining the confidence of the people of Pekanbaru and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of the public relations of Arifin Achmad Regional Public Hospital in maintaining the public trust of Pekanbaru. The results showed that the public relations activities of Arifin Achmad Regional Hospital of Riau Province in maintaining the Pekanbaru people's trust were as expert advisors, communication facilitators, problem solving facilitators, and activities as communication technicians. The supporting factors of Public Relations Hospital Arifin Achmad in maintaining the confidence of the people of Pekanbaru, namely: a) the existence of a complaint post, and b) director's policy. The inhibiting factors of the Public Relations Hospital Arifin Achmad Riau Province in maintaining the trust of the people of Pekanbaru, namely: a) facilities and infrastructure, b) human resources, c) lack of skills and, d) lack of funds.
