Abstract :
This study aims to determine how the work motivation of employees in the Haluan Riau Newspaper. To complete this study, the authors use data types and sources, namely primary data and secondary data. This type of research is descriptive, which is a method of examining the status of a group of people, an object, a condition, a system of thought or a class of events in the present. While the data collection techniques use are interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. From the answers of respondents used as research variables and analysed in the form of descriptive. And to determine the samples the sampling technique is a purposive sampling technique purposive sampling. The result of this study indicate that employee motivation in the Haluan Riau Pekanbaru Newspaper is in the good category.
