Abstract :
This research entitled "Comparison of Basic Vocabulary of Indonesian Language with Malay Language PataniDialek Jerang". The problem of this research is (1) how is the basic vocabulary equation of Indonesian with Malay language Patani Dialek Jerang? (2) what are the similarities in the basic vocabulary of Indonesian with the Malay language Patani Dialek Jerang? (3) how the basic vocabulary of Indonesian is different from the Malay language Patani Dialek Jerang. This study aims to find out, describe and analyze data and information about the comparison of the basic vocabulary of Indonesian with the Malay language Patani Dialek Jerang. The theory used is the theory of Gorys Keraf (1991). The method used in this research is descriptive and comparative method. The techniques used are observation techniques, interview techniques, and recording techniques and notes techniques. Based on the research conducted, it was concluded that there were similarities, similarities and differences between Indonesian and the Malay language Patani Dialek Jerang. Based on a list of 200 comparative vocabularies between Indonesian and Malay Patani Dialek Jerang, 77 equations, 80 similarities, and 43 differences between the basic vocabulary of Indonesian and the Malay language Patani Dialek Jerang were obtained.
