Abstract :
This study aims to determine the relation of learning motivation with science learning outcomes of grade VII SMP Negeri 1 LubukDalam. This research is a quantitative research using correlational approach. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. The sample in this study is amounted to 79 students. Data analysis in this research using correlation analysis technique PearsonProduct Moment. The results showed between learning motivation (X) with science learning outcomes (Y) of grade VII SMP Negeri 1 LubukDalam, students with high academic scores with a correlation (r ii xy ) of 0.21. Based on the results of the t test analysis, t count 0.695>t table 0.688 Students with moderate academic values with a correlation (r xy ) of 0.99. Based on the results of t test analysis, t count 42.38>t table 0.680. Students with low academic scores with a correlation (r xy ) of 0.12. Based on the results of t test analysis, t count 0.911>t table 0.688. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and science learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 LubukDalamon Lessson Year 2017/2018.
