Abstract :
This study was conducted aiming to determine the implementation of Riau Province Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2013 concerning Regulations on the Use of Public and Special Roads (Case Study of Maredan Perawang Road / Bridge Damage). And to find out which is an obstacle in the implementation of Riau Province Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2013 concerning Regulations on the Use of Public and Special Roads (Case Study of Maredan Perawang Road / Bridge Damage). This type of research is a survey research, the population of this study is the Siak Regency Transportation Department Employees and Maredan Perawan Road / Bridge user community using a random sampling technique. Data collection methods using interviews, observation, questionnaires and documentation. Then the data were analyzed descriptively. It can be concluded that the Siak Regency Transportation Office as the implementor of Riau Province Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2013 concerning Regulations on the Use of Public and Special Roads is responsible for the successful implementation of these regulations by ensuring the creation of traffic order and road transportation in Siak Regency. Obstacles in the application of Riau Province Region Number 5 of 2013 concerning Regulations on the Use of Public and Special Roads for extortion, the Department of Transportation of Siak Regency has budget limitations in program implementation. this can be seen as an impediment to the increase in the number of personnel in conducting surveillance. As well as supporting facilities in the form of operational vehicles in the Siak Regency Transportation Department, it has not been adequate due to a lot of dama
