Abstract :
To analyze the leadership of the Village Head in infrastructure development and to find out the inhibiting factors of the Village Head's leadership in infrastructure development in Tanjung Pauh Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The indicators used in this study are: leadership as a planner, leadership as a motivation, leadership as a decision maker, and leadership as a supervisor. This study took place in Tanjung Pauh Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency by using a type of qualitative research with a descriptive survey method, namely by conducting direct interviews in the field and observing the research location to analyze the empirical conditions that occurred. The key informants in this study were the Tanjung Pauh Village Head, and the informants consisted of the Village Secretary, Development Kaur, Chairman of the BPD, Community Leaders, and 2 people. Data collection techniques through research tools in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the leadership of the village head in infrastructure development in Tanjung Pauh Village, Singingi Hilir Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency is said to be good enough. This has been measured through indicators namely leadership as planners, leadership as motivation, leadership as decision makers, and leadership as supervisors.
