Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of the Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) type of active learning strategy on student mathematics learning outcomes in matrix material. The form of research is Quasi Experiment (quasi-experiment). The research design for Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The study population was all students of class XI Science who came from two classes in one of the Public High Schools in Rokan Hulu. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, so the class XI IP1 1 was chosen as the experimental class and the XI IPA2 class as the control class with the same number of students, 27 students. Instruments and data collection techniques are test techniques and observation techniques. The test results were analyzed to see the students' mathematics learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. The observation sheet was analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that there was an effect on student learning outcomes through the active learning type Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) strategy. The observation sheet of teacher and student activities shows a better improvement in the learning process.
