Abstract :
This study aims to look at the contribution of ankle coordination and leg muscle strength to the ability of football in the sepak takraw game of extracurricular students at Benai 1 High School. The type of this research is correlation with analysis using correlational. The population in this study were 12 extracurricular students from Benai High School takraw soccer. The sampling technique uses total sampling technique, so the number of samples in this study is 12 people. The instruments of this study were the eye-foot coordination test, back and leg dynamometer and soccer test. The results of this study are (1) There is a contribution of ankle coordination (X1) to the results of football (Y) The value of r count is 0.609 with a contribution percentage of 37%. (2) There is no contribution of leg muscle strength (X2) to the results of soccer sila (Y). The value of r count is a percentage value of 0.6%. (3) There is a contribution of ankle coordination and leg muscle strength to the ability of football in the sepak takraw game of extracurricular students in 1 Nai High School. With r count is 0.724 with a contribution percentage of 52.4%.
