Abstract :
This research aims to produce a module of teaching materials diversity of wood types used to create Jalur and conditions of its current existence in Kuantan Singingi regency for biology subjects at grade X of Highschool. This research is a type of research and development with the ADDIE method development The subjects of this study were The Lineman and Chairman of Sentajo Raya Custom leader in Kuantan Singingi Regency and the subjects of teaching materials were students of grade X of SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan, SMAN 1 Sentajo Raya, and SMAN 1 Benai. The research data was obtained from validation sheets assessed by material experts, learning experts, and biology teachers, as well as response questionnaires obtained from the limited test results from students. The results of this study showed that the quality of validity of the teaching material module based on validation results by material experts fall into the valid category with an average of 81.67% (Valid), the validation results of learning experts get a percentage of 86.90 (very valid) , the results of the three teachers get a percentage of 97.22 (Very Valid), and the test results in learners get an average percentage of 94.8 (very good) , based on some of these categories, then it can be concluded that the learning media developed is very valid and has been worth using as a teaching material that can help learners' learning process.
