Abstract :
This study aims to produce learning tools based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) on circle material in class VIII of the 6th grade Siak Middle School which is valid and practical. This research is a 4D model development research (define, design, develop, and desseminate). This study consists of 4 stages, namely: (1) Define the stage of identifying learning needs, (2) Stage of designing (design), namely designing themes, formats and systematics of learning devices, (3) Stage of product development The initial draft product was then validated by 2 expert lecturers, 1 teacher. The product from the validation was then trialed at Siak Hulu Public Middle 6 with a total of 17 students to get student response tests and students' practicality tests in mathematics learning. Inputs and suggestions from limited trials are used as references in revisions so that the final product is obtained. In this study, the fourth stage was not carried out, namely dissemination. This is because of the limited time and costs of the researcher. The data analysis technique is done by finding the average of each category and the average aspects in the validation sheet. The practicality of learning devices is filled in by questionnaires on teacher and student responses to student response questionnaires. From the results of the study, it was obtained the results of RPP validation of 77% with validity criteria very valid and LKPD of 80.75% with very practical criteria. Practical review of lesson plans by 97.6% with very practical criteria. LAS of 94.36% in the very practical category. Based on the results of the mathematics learning research based on Realistic Mathematics Eduication (RME) on the circle material in class VIII of Siak Hulu SMP N 6 which is tested by kelavidan and practicality.
