Crime prevention Strategy By Polresta Pekanbaru against child prostitution ABSTRACT By : Hasan Basri This study wants to illustrate the strategy of preventing crime by the Pekanbaru police against prostitution of children in the city of Pekanbaru. This is motivated by the endless number of prostitution of children at this time. Children who usually get attention and love from both parents are now ignored, so that makes a child fall into prostitution. The method used by this researcher is qualitatively seen that the police are still facing obstacles in tackling this prostitution. Based on the results of research from the Pekanbaru police directly related to the control of child prostitution, the Pekanbaru police has conducted and held school-socialization and community environment socialization, so that prevention of primary and secondary crime, secondary and tertiary prevention becomes a benchmark for police in preventing child prostitution crime. there in the city of Pekanbaru this year, so there is no such thing as child prostitution.
