Abstract :
This study aims to develop learning media for cartoon animation videos that are suitable for thematic learning in grade IV Elementary School theme 6 sub-theme 2 for learning 1. The type of research used is development research using the formative research method. This research was conducted in three stages. (1) the preliminary stage (2) the self-evaluation stage includes the analysis stage consisting of teacher needs analysis, student needs analysis, learning environment analysis and curriculum analysis as well as the design and production stages of cartoon animation videos using the help of plotagon story, kinemaster, automatic application programs. speech recognition (ASR) and format factory, and (3) prototyping including product validation and revision stages. While the subjects in this study were 1 teacher, 3 students and 2 design experts, 2 material experts, and 2 linguists. The instrument used was a validation sheet and the data analysis techniques used were quantitative and qualitative. The results of the research obtained are cartoon animation video media on theme 6 sub-theme 2 learning 1 for grade IV elementary school students which are feasible based on the design expert's assessment with a percentage of 92.65% with valid criteria, material experts 92.19% with valid criteria, experts 88.75% language that meets the valid criteria. The average percentage of validation results is 91.20% with the valid category without revision.
