Abstract :
Student Penjaskesrek Class 3C Academic Year 2018/2019 Riau Islamic University when javelin throwing material, javelin throwing results are still low. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength to the results of student javelin throwing Penjasesrek Class 3C Academic Year 2018/2019 Riau Islamic University. Research included in the correlation or correlational study with the student population Penjaskesrek 3C Class Academic Year 2018/2019 Riau Islamic University, amounting to 37 people consisting of 30 sons and 7 daughters. The sample set in the study were 30 sons. The research instrument used was arm muscle strength using the push-up test as X variable and javelin throw test as Y variable. Then the test results were processed using the "r" product moment formula. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a contribution of arm muscle strength to javelin throwing results of students in the class 3 C class of medical cycles of 2018/2019 academic year in Riau Islamic University at 17.39% and r count = 0.417> rtable = 0.367.
