Abstract :

Contributions to the Power of Leg Muscles Against the Jumping Out of Class XI Male Students of 1 Siak Small High School Based on the observations of the authors on class XI 1 Siak Kecil State High School that the results of infectious jumps were not good. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of leg muscle power to the results of the inflated jump of male students of class XI 1 Siak Kecil High School. Research included in the correlation or correlational study with a population of male students of class XI 1 Siak Kecil High School, amounting to 63 people consisting of Class XI-A, XI-B, XI-C and XI-D. The sample set in the study was 33 sons. The research instrument used was leg muscle power by using standing broad jump test as X variable and infectious jump test as Y variable. Then the test results were processed using the "r" product moment formula. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a contribution of limb muscle power to the results of the inflated jump of class XI male students of SMA 1 Siak Kecil by 35.64% with r count = 0.597.
