Abstract :
Research on the relationship of library facilities with interest in reading for VII grade students of SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar has this research problem, namely how is the relationship of library facilities with reading interest in grade VII students at SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar, Kampar District. This study uses the theory of Sutarno (2006). The method used in this research is descriptive method, with a quantitative approach. The results of this study show that the library facility value of the regression coefficient of 0.806, has a positive relationship with students' interest in reading. Based on the t test it can be concluded that the significance of t <0.05 is 0.000 <0.05 in other words the research hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a significant relationship between one independent variable to the dependent variable. In other words there is a relationship between library facilities and the reading interest of grade VII students at SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar, Kampar Regency.
