Abstract :
The problem in this research is the contribution of hand-eye coordination on the ability of passing under voleyball students of SMP Negeri 33 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine whether there is a contribution of hand-eye coordination on the ability of students? passing under voleyball in SMP Negeri 33 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is a correlation study with the population of all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 33 Pekanbaru with the number of population as many as 15 people. Data in this research is total sampling technique. The sample in this study uses all of population, so the sample amounted to 15 people. Instrument performed in this research is hand-eye coordination test and underpassing test. Then data is processed by statistic, with the product moment correlation formula and using t distribution formula to know significant or no relation at significant level. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a contribution of hand-eye coordination on the ability of students? under-passing voleyball in SMP Negeri 33 Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the research that has conducted, it can be concluded from the data collection obtained the average value of hand-eye coordination of 6.2 and the average value of under-passing voleyball 8.87. While from the seen from the level of significant probability, known comparison r count = 0.489
