Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of explosive limb muscle power to the speed of crescent kicks of the students of SMA PGRI pekanbaru pencak silat extracurriculars. The type of this study was correlation. namely sampling based on the whole of the population so that the number of samples in this study were 20 students of SMA PGRI Pekanbaru Pencak Silat Extracurricularuller. This analysis technique was a R test. pencak silat SMA PGRI pekanbaru obtained the value of rh (correlation coefficient) obtained value of 0.43 at a significant level of 5% (10) rt: 0.444. thus rh: 0.43> t = 0.444. Whereas if seen in the table of interpretation of the correlation coefficient the value of r, 0.43 is between 0.40-0.599, so it can be seen that there is a relationship of variable X to variable Y with a contribution value of 18.49%
