Abstract :
Found several weaknesses in doing a chest pass and extracurricular student basketball mts bustanul ulum pekanbaru. i.e. the student is still nkaku in doing basketball chest passes. see less maximlamnuya muscle explosive power; the arms of the extracurricular student mts bustanul ulum perkanbaru have just obtained from observing for 3 weeks, finding imperfect movements in passing and passing techniques that are still poor. The sample in this study was extracurricular student MTS Bustanul Ulum Pekanbaru, amounting to 14V students. using a total sampling technique from extracurricular students. the form of this research is correlational using the two hand medicine ball put test and doing a ketembok chest pass. Based on the results of correlational research, it was concluded that there was no relationship between the explosive power of the arm muscles toward the ability of chest wall closures. where r arithmetic <0.39 r table 0.53 and the results of arm muscle explosive power to the ability of chest pass by 15.21% from the analysis using the coefficient of determination.
