Abstract :
Agility contribution to football dribbling skills to extracurricular male students of SMA 1 Kubu, Rokan Hilir Regency. The problem in this research is that students have difficulty passing opponents and when opponents have a difficult ball avoiding opponents when dribbling, then other factors that affect football dribbling are speed, students in dribbling the ball can always be pursued by opponents so that the ball can be captured, in motion coordination less optimal where in dribbling, the ball that is carried is often released or not controlled properly. This study aims to determine whether there is a contribution of agility to the football dribbling skills of extracurricular male students of SMA 1 Kubu, Rokan Hilir Regency. This type of research is correlational research with data processing techniques using agility tests and football dribbling. Furthermore, the data analysis techniques obtained were analyzed by simple product moment correlation. The population in this study were extracurricular male students of SMA 1 Kubu, Rokan Hilir Regency, amounting to 20 people. The sample of this study uses total sampling technique, meaning that the entire population is sampled. So the number of samples in this study were 20 sons. Based on data analysis, the correlation between agility and football dribbling skills was obtained, where rxy (0.509) means that the hypothesis is accepted and there is a contribution of agility to football dribbling skills to extracurricular male students of SMA 1 Kubu, Rokan Hilir Regency. The contribution was 25.94%, while the remaining 74.06%.
