Abstract :
This study aims to examine the Javanese bridal make-up in SP2 Village, Bangun City. The theory used in this study is the theory of makeup proposed by Agani which consists of make-up, hair and jewelry. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Respondents in this study consisted of traditional make-up and modern make-up professionals. The results of this study revealed that. Bridal makeup in SP2 Village Kota Bangun uses Paes Ageng, shaved eyebrows and has meaning and symbols on the makeup. Bridal hair make-up in SP2 Village Kota Bangun generally uses a bun as jewelry. Bridal jewelry makeup in SP2 Kota Bangun Village generally uses various accessories, one of which is using prada as head decoration.
