Abstract :
Based on observations on the field, it is known that students 'low passing ability of volleyball is still low, this is caused by the students' lack of mastery of the lower passing technique, this is seen from the poor attitude of the students in positioning their bodies when the ball comes and students have difficulty accepting the ball with lower passing . Then the hand eye coordination of students is still not good so that the student's ball exposure when passing down is still not good. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of hand eye coordination on the volleyball's under-passing ability of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Toar Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. This research was conducted using a correlational research design, namely research that calculates the level of relationship of a variable to other variables. The population of this study were students of class XI1 and XI2 of SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Toar Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi, amounting to 18 people. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The instruments in this study were hand eye coordination tests and volleyball under-passing tests. Correlation analysis technique used is product moment correlation. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a contributions of hand eye coordination against the ability of the lower bolavoli passing of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Toar Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi, at 38.94% where r count (0.624)> r table (0.468).
