Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to improve service skills under volleyball through teaching variations in Grade 6 A Kuala Terusan 009 Kuala Terusan Kabupaten Pelalawan. The type of this research is PTK. The population and sample in this study were grade 6 A students of Kuala Terusan Kabupaten Pelalawan, totaling 32 people. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the percentage value of classical completeness. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in service skills under volleyball through teaching variations in 6th grade students of Kuala Terusan Kuala Terusan Kabupaten Pelalawan with an increase in students' average skills during the first cycle with competent categories but have not achieved 80% classical completeness, only reached a percentage value of 78% with the number of students completed as many as 25 students in the average student categorized as competent 73.21%. While in the second cycle showed that the ability of students to perform the movement of service skills under volleyball was better than the first cycle with classical completeness of 94%.
