Abstract :
This study aims to find out about the science process skills and students scientific attitudes in mosses, ferns, and seed plants practicums on 10th grade of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras, Pelalawan Regency of Riau Academic Year 2018/2019. This research is a descriptive research. The method used in this study is a survey, using instruments and data collection is carried out by using a questionnaire, observation, interview and documentation. The research sample is taken by using purposive sampling technique. The samples in this study are 10th Grades students of IPA 1 and IPA 3 with a total 72 students. The data collection is carried out in the biology laboratory of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras on April 2019. Based on the results of the research from the observation sheet indicates that the science process skills obtained a value of 80.65% and the scientific attitude of students obtained a value of 78.35%. While the result of the questionnaire research shows that the scientific attitudes of students obtained a value of 76.21%. It can be concluded that the science process skills and students scientific attitudes in mosses, ferns, and seed plants practicums on 10th grade of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras, Pelalawan Regency of Riau Academic Year 2018/2019 are classified as Good.
