Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the shooting ability of the FC Pekanbaru odd club players. The type of this research is correlation. The population and sample in this research were the odd club players FC Pekanbaru, totaling 20 people. The research instrument used was a leg muscle explosive power test using a standing broadjump test and a shooting at the ball test. The data analysis technique used is the correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a contribution of the explosive power of the leg muscles to the shooting ability of the FC Pekanbaru Club Player with a value of r count = 0.651> r table = 0.444 and a contribution value of 42.38%.
