Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of contribution of leg muscle strength and eye-foot coordination to the shooting ability of Bina Mitra U-16 football school players, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency. The type of research used in this study is correlation. This research was conducted at the Bina Mitra U-16 Football School Players, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, which amounted to 14 people as the research sample. The research instrument used was a standing broad jump test, eye and foot coordination and a soccer shooting test. Based on the results of data analysis, obtained X1 to Y with a contribution value of 25.60%, X2 to Y obtained a contribution value of 2.40%, while X1, X2, to Y obtained a contribution value of 66%. It is known that there is a contribution of leg muscle strength and eye-foot coordination to the shooting ability of Bina Mitra U-16 Football School Players, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency as much as 66% and the remaining 34% is influenced by other variables.
