Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of football passing and stopping learning for grade IV B students at SD Negeri 168 Pekanbaru through the demonstration method. The type of this research is PTK. The subjects of this study were students of class IV B SD Negeri 168 Pekanbaru. With the number of students 31 people. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the percentage value of classical completeness. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the results of the study showed that there was an increase in the ability of passing and stopping football through the demonstration method in class IV B students at SD Negeri 168 Pekanbaru with an increase in the average ability of students in the first cycle in the category quite competent and had not reached the classical completeness score of 80 %, only reached a percentage value of 61.29% with the number of students who completed as many as 19 students with an average score of 81.36. while in the second cycle, it showed that the students' ability in passing and stopping football was better with a classical completeness score of 83.87% with a total of 26 students and an average score of 81.25.
