Abstract :
This study aims to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength to the ability to serve in volleyball in a scientific manner. The formulation of the problem in this study is how much is the contribution of arm muscle strength to service ability in volleyball? This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Mandau Riau Province in 2021. The research method used is the correlation method with product moment statistics, this research is objective or what it is with a sample of 14 students of SMA Negeri 1 Mandau Riau Province taken with a total sampling technique. Based on the data analysis, it can be seen that the significant value is less than 0.05 = 0.01 <0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and service skills in volleyball, with a degree of relationship (0.66). a significant relationship has a strong correlation between push ups and volleyball serve.
