Abstract :
Key word: Listening Comprehension, English for Spesific Purpose The objective of this research is to find what is the level of the students on listening comprehension in completing a text for students at English department of FKIP. The design of this research was quantitative research. The instrument of this research was listening test. Listening test which was constructed based on the indicators of listening, main idea, finding details, identifying implication, and identifying inference.Then,the students was distributed to the fifth semester students at English Department of FKIP UIR in academic year 2017/2018. The result of the test showed that listening comprehension of the students were 40% which is considered as Good level. The researcher concluded that the ability of Students? listening comprehension was good and the students should keep practicing their listening skill.
