Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of arm muscle power and hand eye coordination to the jump shoot ability of Bina Muda Basket Club Pekanbaru players. The type of this research is multiple correlation. The population and sample in this study were the players of Bina Muda Basket Club Pekanbaru, amounting to 13 people. The research instrument used was an overhead medicine ball throw test, an eye-hand coordination test and a basketball jump shoot ability test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following conclusions can be drawn (1) There is a contribution of arm muscle power to the jump shoot ability of Bina Muda Basket Club Pekanbaru players of 48.72% with rcount = 0.698 with rtable = 0.553, (2) There are the contribution of eye and hand coordination to the jump shoot ability of Bina Muda Basket Club Pekanbaru players is 37.33% with rcount = 0.611 with rtable = 0.553, (3) There is a contribution of arm muscle power and eye and hand coordination to the jump shoot ability of Bina Muda players Basketball Club Pekanbaru is 66.75% with rcount = 0.817 with rtable = 0.553.
