Abstract :
Currently, the impact of information and communication technology is felt in every aspect of human activity. The use of technology can change the ways and patterns of thinking of people to solve everyday problems. Technology can also be applied to help even replace jobs that are usually done by humans manually. Technology can also solve errors that can potentially occur if done manually. Therefore technology can be accepted in every activity that is carried out. One technology application that can be done is the monitoring system for the elderly (elderly). Unlike humans who are still young, the elderly need more attention, both in terms of food, exercise, medicine, rest time and so on. In order to be able to carry out monitoring activities of the elderly effectively, in this study the authors are interested in making an application that can help health workers at the Simpang Tiga Public Health Center, Bukit Raya District in monitoring the elderly in the area.
