Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of career development on employee performance at PT. Sucofindo Pekanbaru City Branch. The population and sample in the study amounted to 48 employees using the saturated or census sampling method, the data was processed using IBM SPSS 23.0 as a research analysis tool. This research uses descriptive method and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis shows that career development variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Sucofindo Pekanbaru City Branch with a significance level below 0.05. The amount of contribution given by career development variables to employee performance is indicated by the coefficient of determination R Square (R2) of 0.527 or 52.7% while 47.3% is influenced by other factors not included in the research model.
