Abstract :
This study aims to determine student biology learning outcomes grade VII5 students of MTS Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2019/2020 with the implementation of guided inquiry learning that was implemented on August 30, 2017 until Sept 22, 2017 of grade VII5 students of MTS Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2019/2020 which amounts to 33 students consist of 18 male students and 15 female students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). Parameters measured are student learning outcomes in the form of absorption and mastery learning students that consist of individual mastery and classical. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the absorption and mastery learning students to the value of knowledge understanding of the concept (Cognitive) and the value of scientific performance (Psychomotor). Absorption value of knowledge understanding of the concept students before CAR 60,00% increase in the first cycle to 80,66% with an increase of 20,66% and the second cycle had increased to 92,02% with an increase of 11,36%. Classical completeness value of knowledge understanding of the concept students before CAR 60,61% increase in the first cycle to 90,91% with an increase of 30,3% and the second cycle had increased to 100% with an increase of 9,09%. Absorption value of scientific performance students before CAR 76,69% increase in the first cycle to 82,86% with an increase of 6,17% and the second cycle had increased to 86,44% with an increase of 3,58%. Classical completeness value of scientific performance students before CAR 63,63% increase in the first cycle to 75,76% with an increase of 12,13% and the second cycle had increased to 100% with an increase of 24,24%. Can be concluded that the application of guided inquiry learning can improve learning outcomes of grade VII5 students of MTS Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2019/2020.
