Abstract :
This study aims to determine whether there is any Contribution of Arm Muscles Power to the result of service for volleyball in Class VI A Students PE of Riau Islamic University. The type of this research is correlation which has aims to find out level of coordination of different variables. The Technique of sampling is total sampling, the sample in this study was 18 students in class VI A PE of Riau Islamic University. This research was conducted at Gor Bumi Sejahtera Pekanbaru. Research instrument used that test of the Medicine Overhead throwing test and the Volleyball Service test. The result of the data in this research was Upper Service. The collected data were analyzed by using correlation with the Product Moment formula. Based on the data analysis and discussion before showed that was proven with TCount is 0.966 and Ttable is 0.482. It means Tcount > Ttabel in the level ?= 0.05. It can be concluded that there is the any any Contribution of Arm Muscles Power to the result of service for volleyball in Class VI A Students PE of Riau Islamic University. In other words, the alternative hypothesis of this research was accepted.
